Lindsey Parker found her creative outlet and eventual career when her father gave her the camera he had as a boy, a 35mm Canon AE1. After discovering her fascination with photography as a teenager, Lindsey moved from Dallas to Chicago where she earned her B.F.A. in photography in 2005 from Columbia College Chicago. There she gained skills in fine art and commercial photography as well as experimental photo printing and processing techniques, which she utilizes in her portraiture. Lindsey has advanced skills in both digital and film formats, printing and light web design which allow her the flexibility to wear many hats on the job. She has shot for Time Out Chicago Magazine, XLR8R Magazine and Pistil Magazine and has assisted numerous esteemed commercial, food and editorial photographers locallly and internationally. She also shoots weddings in a range of styles. This experience led her to the in-house photo studio of Crate & Barrel where her vigilant attention to photographic details guided her naturally toward photo styling. There she moved from photography assistant to stylist. Lindsey has a constant urge to create and a fascination with design and details which push her to shoot her own personal work while pursuing new photo styling and shooting assignments. By working with a wide variety of photographers and creative teams she has garnered a reputation for bringing her unique style and professional lively personality to each job.
